Summer is almost over, but that’s no reason not to enjoy ice cream and its delicious variations! Here is my version of a milkshake, perfect for a refreshing snack :) For mine, I used homemade coffee & hazelnut ice cream and spelt & hazelnut plant-based milk, all topped with whipped cream and chopped hazelnuts. But feel free to use your cravings (and your freezer) as inspiration: vanilla/pistachio/chocolate/fruit & cow’s milk or oat milk, the possible combinations are endless ;)

 Preparation time: 5 minutes
 Serves 2:

Ingredients:

3 to 4 scoops of ice cream (depending on whether you prefer it thicker or more liquid)
220ml of milk of your choice (you can use plant-based milk)
 5-6 ice cubes
Whipped cream & toppings of your choice (chopped hazelnuts or pistachios, chocolate shavings, coconut powder…)

Recipe:

Put the ice cream, milk, and ice cubes in a blender, blend, and pour immediately into a glass. Add whipped cream and your choice of toppings, add a straw, and enjoy!
